The Avokaado Story

Avokaado is a contract lifecycle management platform (CLM) out of Estonia. It was founded by Mariana Hagström, a former attorney-at-law and managing partner at a law firm, who started the company in 2016 to solve the inefficient processes around contracts. In 2020 she was recognised in the entrepreneurship category of the European Women of Legal Tech awards.

In Avokaado we value efficiency and creativity, we are looking for new ways to deliver efficiency through repeatable and scalable processes and automation every day. We are creating new processes, products, solutions using creativity, logic and customer centric design in development and innovation; we are constantly learning and questioning the old. We value simplicity over complexity, repeatable and scalable processes over single and manual ones, faster the better.
Positivity

We are kind and open-minded, value diversity, are eager to help, keep a positive and growth mindset, express freely ideas and demonstrate expertise. We show empathy towards clients, in client service and within the team. Our goal is to help and try to find a solution. We say no with empathy, we foster self-confidence, we are not judging nor labeling. By being active and having fun we continue staying young at heart and eliminate getting stuck in the small things and failures.
Responsibility

Together as a team and separately we own our successes and failures. We deliver our tasks on time and when possible, exceed expectations. We keep our promises even at difficult times and value our team enough to be disciplined with our tasks. The company’s and client’s success is dependant on everyone’s input which should be delivered on time and top quality. Our goal is to keep moving and hold focus but also be open to change when getting stuck.

We build our product so that our customers can trust us and our processes, to show that our team is trustworthy, keeps promises, shares knowledge and are the leaders in their field. We are lean in our product and process development and iterate to become better in our solution and services innovation.
